Money Maze

Everyone loves money. Everyone loves puzzles. Thankfully Money Maze is one of those brilliantly annoying gizmos that combines both of the above, as recipients must solve it in order to access whatever pressie you put inside. Aargh!

Looking a bit like transparent Borg starships (or, if you’re not a complete geek, see-through cubes), this infuriatingly addictive puzzle is guaranteed to send friends and relatives loopy with frustration.

As its name suggests the Money Maze is ideal for imprisoning money, but you can also use it to trap tickets, gift vouchers or any other paper-based pressie.

We’re not telling you how to solve this knuckle-gnawing brain-teaser (yes, of course we’ve cracked it) but it involves manoeuvering a little steel ball through a labyrinthine maze. And if you think that sounds easy, think again.

We’ve seen grown men reduced to tears trying to open this deceptively devious cube. And there was only a quid inside. Oh yes, did we mention you can also put coins in Money Maze? Actually, if it fits in the slot, you can put anything you like in there. As long as the recipient covets it, it’s funny.

Flummoxed owners might be tempted to take the direct approach and smash their maze to smithereens with a heavy object. But then they’d be unable to use it again.
